el primer posto

All this weather has gotten me feelin' really tired and sluggish today. Can't do homework or study for that important nutrition exam when I'm feeling that way...but I can do yoga! I stick to a regular practice outside of teaching--usually two sessions a week professional led by the lovely Eric Burri in the Newman Center in addition to the random stretch sessions around the house with my gorgeous roommate Ainslie. It's funny, a lot of our best (and most fun!) yoga happens in the kitchen, whilst cookin' up some kale and rice or something. Yum yum! We have a CSA share at our house from the UMass Farm and we are overloaded in root veggies and squash (and onions and garlic), so we try to put them to use as much as possible. Last week I made a yummy butternut squash soup, and I was going to post a picture of the bright orange liquidyness but (of course) the cord to my camera is lost in the world. Condundrum. I'll post a funny picture of a picky duck. Super cool that somebody stitched that. Yay first post!
silly duck. or maybe smart duck. regardless, a picky duck.
